My Experience With Miami Fashion Week

I had the chance in March to participate in Miami Fashion week with a group of students from My college. There were seven of us total, and it was a great experience. Here are a few photos

There aren't too many photos of the behind the scenes  stuff because we actually were not allowed to take pictures inside the venue out of respect for the designers. They wanted nothing to be revealed until the day of the show, but of course there were a few people who still took pictures behind the scene hehe. Miami Fashion week was a great experience because we got to do hands on stuff such as fittings with the designers and the models! We got to see how this event is set  up from start to finish and all the hardwork that it takes to produce a show of this magnitude.
Among the designers this year were
Carlos Miele
Roberto Cavali
 Stella McCartney
Moschino
 Carlos Vigil Couture
Mike Sylla
(I got to work with him ^^^^  ^_^)

And whats a trip to Miami without going to the beach?
This was probably one of the best weeks of my life! If you're into fashion I definitely recommend trying Miami Fashion week for a wonderful experience.

How to revamp your wardrobe

As college students many of us don’t have time to spend hours searching through racks at Forever 21 to completely redo our wardrobes. Some of us just may not know where to start, nonetheless it is possible! First things first, you need the essentials the secret to any great wardrobe are the basics. The basics allow you to interchange outfits and create various looks with the same items, and are what 85% of your daily styles will consist of. The basics should include the following: tanks and camisoles in black, beige, and white. They can be layered with anything and more importantly they look great with everything. Next a great wardrobe will consist of at least three to four good pairs of jeans in various fits such as boot cut, flared, skinny (of course) high wasted or whatever looks best on your body type. What’s a complete wardrobe without the proper undergarments? It can be embarrassing when your bra straps are showing through a shirt but by wearing the proper undergarments, you can be sure to avoid this. These can be racer back bras, halter top bras, strapless bras etc. Bras of this kind are usually inexpensive and can be purchased at The Body Shop, Forever 21, Wal-Mart, or Target. Last but not least the perfect wardrobe will have at least two or three great jackets and coats, anything from cropped denim jackets and vests to a leather jacket or even a pea coat can take any look to the next level. Remember, these are your building blocks! And happy styling!
